Q: What is Burbfest?
A: Glad you asked!
Burbfest is an annual summer festival and art market that shines a light on the creative connections happening throughout the greater Twin Cities area. The event will feature a local artist market, craft workshops, artist demonstrations, volleyball, pickleball, and even a beach dance party! Local food truck vendors and other special guests will also be in attendance.
Our art center draws from a large suburban community across the metro, making it a perfect bridge between urban and rural creative communities. At our core, we are interested in investing in our local community with creative opportunities that connect us together. This year is particularly special as the art center is commemorating 45 years of serving the greater Twin Cities community!
The Burbfest Art Market is central element of Burbfest, bringing surrounding communities closer to local artists and their work.
Art Market Hours: 10am - 4pm
You can also take breaks during the market and...
- Hit the beach for an epic dance party
- Spend time at our community partners' booths
- Play volleyball or pickleball
- Grab a treat from one of the local food truck vendors
During the final two hours of the event, we will announce vendor awards which include:
- Best in Show ($100)
- Outside the Booth ($100)
- Fan Favorite ($100)
The Details
The maker's market is in an indoor community building that features air conditioning, electrical outlets, and a fully enclosed environment. (That's right, we're covered rain or shine!)
You may be wondering…what makes Burbfest different from other markets?
